RWR Renovations are recruiting for Carpenters in Lowestoft, Suffolk.

This position is to start as soon as possible and the contract is expected to last up to 18 months.

The ideal applicant will have previous experience working on a construction site, be capable in both 1st and 2nd fix works, have their own tools. Uniform will be provided. CSCS is preferred but not required.

The applicant will ideally be a skilled and experienced carpenter who also holds skills in plumbing and plastering.

The successful individual will ideally hold a minimum level 2 NVQ or be an experienced carpenter. Experienced in completing various tasks involving plumbing, plastering tiling, painting and decorating would be a bonus.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete daily task lists set by the Director.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance at all times with necessary regulations and standards.
• Complete daily timesheet.
• Able to foresee issues and plan to resolve them in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience

• Carpenter / Multi Trade experience
• Excellent oral skills, telephone skills and interpersonal skills. Written skills a bonus.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• An understanding and ability to show excellent customer service skills.

Certificates and Qualifications

• Trade City & Guilds/ NVQ qualification preferred or equivalent experience.
• Full UK driving license.

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 08:00am to 17:00pm with 30 minutes lunch.

Rates of pay depending on experience.
